PHYSICAL THERAPY Optim Physical Therapy’s philosophy is to work with the whole body, especially the core muscles, to establish integrated movement patterns for daily function. OCCUPATIONAL / CERTIFIED HAND THERAPY Occupational Therapy is an extremely effective means of either overcoming or learning to function with mental and physical disabilities, and our therapists are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients. The specialty of hand therapy was developed due to advances in surgical techniques that enable greater functional restoration of injured or diseased upper extremities. Therapeutic intervention of a skilled, specialized Occupational Therapist who is able to integrate the principles of rehabilitation with these surgical interventions is required to obtain such restoration.
